MEMBERSHIP
The Society’s Committee aims to provide a varied, interesting and informative programme. We are fortunate to be able to attract high quality professionals to our Saturday afternoon lectures. We hope you choose to join the Society and look forward to welcoming you into our circle.
Society membership has outgrown our former meeting place so the Committee is pleased to announce a resumption of in-person meetings at St James Church in the centre of Taunton, from September 2022.
Subscription for in-person meetings: £12.50 per person
£6.25 for a student or under 18
An additional fee of £5.00 will be payable on the door of each meeting attended.
Although we no longer offer a Zoom membership option, the November Lecture, in conjunction with the Taunton Literary Festival, will also be available via Zoom. More details of how to enrol for this will be added to the website at a later date.

Regular meetings in person are planned to take place on the 2nd Saturday afternoon of each month from September 2023 to June 2024 (January meeting is in the form of Members' lunch and November meeting is scheduled for November the 18th). Lectures will start at 2pm, with doors open from 1:45. A cup of tea or coffee will be served during the afternoon and meetings usually finish around 4:15.
Due to copyright and to protect the intellectual property rights of the presenter and privacy of attendees, the Society is unable to record and publish the presentations, or to allow others to do so. To remain within The Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, as updated on 1 February 2021. Please do not record, photograph or screenshot any part of the presentations.
